HanZen Garden (2018)

A contemporary Middle Eastern Zen garden, combining East and West, nature and man-made, contradictions and wholeness.

HanZen Garden is a reflection on local stones and materials - their meanings, use and appearance. The design was composed of natural and hand painted gravel, alongside 5 elements - a concrete pyramid, a jumping stone, a Tumulus, a local Keystone and a chiseled Hebron stone.

Commissioned project for the Jerusalem Design Week.
